The concept behind the Giulavi approach lies in the beauty of being unique. Each and every piece created is one-of-a-kind and cannot and will not ever be equal to any other. The design of the individual parts is entrusted to an algorithm designed specifically not to have forms that are the same.
The Giulavi chair is comprised of a seat and backrest made of PMMA acrylic glass that is 8 millimeters thick and cut using a CNC machine and then heat bent. The edges are polished by hand and the metal structure is made by master craftsmen and powder coated. When ordering online, the backrest and seat can be specified and these are processed by the algorithm. Following purchase, these specifications are eliminated from the data base. The chair comes with certification that it is one-of-a-kind, including the registration numbers of the chair seat, backrest and the complete chair, as well as the individual’s name or name chosen for the chair. This information is also printed under the seat and the rim of the backrest (not visible).
